Special adoption considerations: Frankie came to Lucky Dog on 9/9 as part of an emergency evacuation from Jacksonville, Florida in advance of Hurricane Irma's arrival.  We are so grateful to all of the wonderful donors and volunteers who made this transport possible!  We have had very little time to get to know the evacuation dogs, but the shelter in Jacksonville tells us they are good with other dogs and are ready to join their forever homes!

Hey y'all! Frankie here! I'm so greatful to be evacuated out of Florida from Hurricane Irma. Can't you tell by my smile! I'd love a home in the DC area where I can lay my head.

I'd love to take long walks in the crisp fall air and jumping in a pile of leaves sounds like an amazing experience.  I'd also like to take some doggie obedience classes so I can be a well mannered pup!

Whattya say friend? Ready to welcome an evacuee like me into your home? Well get to filling out that application already! I'm waiting!

Like most shelter dogs, Frankie may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained.
